Every night before I go to sleep at night, I read the new top stories in NPR. Some mornings I find some more interesting than others. This article I read this morning really intrigued me.

When I was a child I would often look at my skin and notice it looked like scales. We have smooth scales much like certain kinds of fish. I also noted our hands look relatively like chicken feet. Chicken feet are scaly as well. For the longest time I thought humans evolved from birds. My teachers used to look at me funny and tell me to stop making up funny stories.
What if certain people evolved from birds while others from fish and still others from apes and we all just bred together to become what we are? What if the missing link really is some kind of reptile and that's why we missed it? It sorta makes me wonder. Not gonna lie.
